Queen of the Night

I haven’t had a lot of time to blog or garden lately.   I did get a little time to do both this weekend.  According to the package pictured above, I will have a great blog post in seven months — when my Queen of the Night tulips bloom.

  1. Gardening? You are a woman of many talents!

  2. I planted some of these exact tulips a few years back with my kids, and I have to say they’re gorgeous. You’ll love them when they bloom! Mine do really well and come up every year.

  3. Oh they are lovely!!
Tulips are on my wishlist for the garden, I want Black Parrot!

  4. I don’t know how many bulbs you’ve planted in the past, but here’s the amazing thing about them… you put them in the ground, totally forget about them, and then they bloom like crazy and everything thinks you’re an amazing gardener. It’s like an evil trick of suburbia. Possibly the only trick I know.

  5. Those are gorgeous! You might also like the ‘Superstition’ bearded iris, if you aren’t already familiar with it.
