Arm Warmers

It is arm warmer day over at Sophistique Noir.  The timing couldn’t be more perfect.  It is getting colder here, and my house is drafty.

This pair is my go-to.  I wear them everywhere.  Better than a jacket, I can just throw them in my purse after the day warms up.

I think my favorite thing about them are the buttons.  And that they match my spats perfectly.

Plus, they go with everything.

My arm warmers on their way to see Zola Jesus

  1. Ooh, those are fantastically cute-they read somewhat steampunk thanks to the buttons, and I love it!

  2. Cool pics.

  3. Love them!

  4. Thanks SO much for reminding me about Sock Dreams. I want just about their whole site. 😉 These are an excellent choice! They do look cool with the spats.

    Now I am off to Google how to do nails with scotch tape! ;-D However you did it, they sure look fabulous!

  5. Ah, those armwarmers are lovely! I really like the button details too. I guess the best part of armwarmers is how easy they are to shove into your bag, and they’re taking much less space than a cardigan would. :}

  6. Ay, these are cool! 🙂

  7. Those armwarmers are fantastic and I love the buttons!

  8. These a way more cute than the cycling spandex equivalent and I am very partial to spandex.

    Thwarting the transeasonal weather weirdness is so much fun, isn’t it?

  9. Ohhh Fluevogs. Some day I will own a pair…some day…

    I love oversized, slouchy arm warmers like that. There’s something just so comfortable and cozy about them.

    • The funny thing is, after blogging this, I think I lost them (the arm warmers). Ack.
      As for Fluevogs, I have had good luck searching on eBay for slightly worn ones. And the ones I have bought new have lasted me years (nearly a decade).
