Kickstart your stamp collection with Amy Wilson
The cool part about the books — they provide an interactive experience. As Ms. Wilson explains:
In the middle of the book is a spread where ten parts of the image are missing. You can get the missing parts of the picture — in the form of “postage stamps” that I will make — by completing different tasks and going to different places (both online and physical) that have a conceptual connection to the overall idea of the exhibition. It’s at these places that you can collect your stamp.
To fund this project, Ms. Wilson is offering supporters handmade stamps, embroidered fabric works, and tickets to the show. This is a great opportunity to get in touch with your inner philatelist and support a really great project.
Siouxsie is getting in on this. Not just because she is a fan and friend of Ms. Wilson, but because she is dying to know whether there is a kick-ass goth stamp out there.
