Release the bats!
This is absolutely crazy. I love bats, and I’ve considered building a bat house or two. But I wouldn’t want them living in my roof.

I saw this yesterday and was just floored! I love the way they run up into the tiles every time the contractor pulled a tile off. And we complain about raccoon and opossums in our garage and yard! Sheeze.
PS: I never thanked you properly for all of your help. So, a HUGE Thank You! I’m glad that I didn’t have to go the legal route and every thing worked out in the end. You were and are extremely generous, and for that I am grateful. HUGS!

That is insane. If I lived on my own land, I too would probably build a bathouse. Having this any bats in your own home however … that seems like a major health hazard.

I assume the house is abandoned. I don’t know why I assume that. I just think owners would know they had that many bats in their roof before it got to that level. Who knows?

While it is a health hazard for humans, I can’t help watching that and hoping that none of them were hurt in the roof removal. Some of the poor little things look awfully disoriented as they make their escape.

I like to think they were able to find new homes.
