Goths Rise To Power All Over Europe

Siouxsie normally is skeptical when it comes to politicians. Especially, German politicians. But the new German Prime Minister’s wife, Bettina Wulff, has won Siouxsie over. She is the First Lady with the Tribal Tattoo. That’s right, she has a tribal tattoo and wears black nail polish. Ms. Wulff is not alone in her alternative-style choices. She seems to part of a goth political trend in Europe. Yay!

As another example, there is Samantha Cameron, the wife of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. She is known to have a secret goth past: “The mum of three used to dress all in black, with lots of leather, studs and heavy make-up.” She looks like she could still rock the goth look. Recently, the British press snapped shots of her donning black nail polish.

Of course, everyone knows that the Spanish Prime Minister has a goth family.
This is all very exciting. But Siouxsie longs for the days of Yulia Tymoshenko, the former prime minister of the Ukraine.
A few years ago, Coilhouse Magazine compiled Ms. Tymoshenko’s best goth looks. The photographs are at this link. Her outfits are jaw-dropping amazing.
